Among the Italian repros only Pedersoli has a good reputation....sorry. Folks have been doing well with them in matches.

I'm gettin confused now because Cimarron Arms also sell Armisport as well but some of their stuff looks like Pedersoli!
I have a friend who has been shooting an Armisport with me for about 2 years and the darn thing shoots as well as my Pedersoli. He bought it from a deceased estate unfired for $US615.

Well that is good news, I'll let you know how this one shoots when I get it. It has a 30" octagon barrel and the previous owner has only fired black powder out of it, a tradition I plan on continuing.

I don't want to hijack the thread but what is the reputation for the Armisport rifles? I know Taylor & Co have them make some of their rifles (Spenser clones) and I am currently horsetrading for an Armisport Sharps, did I goof?
