This is marked "Williams" and "760 40" on the bottom. Rings would be offset of the bore.

I thought Win 94 but the 760-40 marks make me thing Remmy auto/pump. The contour seems too sharp to be the Remmy.

On second thought since it doesn't go over the top maybe it is 760/740.

Back in the 60s, guys thought that being able to use the scope and iron sights at the same time was a good thing, It wasn't. Hence all the side mounts and swing over mounts made then. Of course on a 94 it needs to be there, but certainly not on a 760. You have a rare item, suitable as a fishing sinker.

I have a similar one on a P17 Enfield but the rings are positioned to the right that put the center of the scope over the bore. I believe Williams still makes the mount/rings and you probably can get the rings that would position the scope properly from them or Brownells if need be !

I put one on a friends M94. Actually shot to 1 inch but he didn't like it so off it came.

Tried selling, no one wants them.
