I do to. The issue I think is sharing of info. Speerchucker gave alot. He went to the trouble of posting a huge quantity of helpful info and pics but didn't get much back. Many of us picked his brain with little in return. I believe he felt used and just left.

There is more that I can share if I improve my pic posting skills. Just need to do it.

Yep Rod's a good egg. Every so often, when I have a question, I search back threads here and on a few other sites. Sure enough, his advice is still out there on the web. I swear I'll look him up if I'm up to Edmonton.

We are very fortunate to have professionals willing to take time to answer questions and provide us with the benefit of their experience.

It's not hard to show gratitude; it's up to us, the beneficiaries, to use those two most important words..."thank you."

I picked his mind once long ago but I can't even get close to giving him some info back with all he knows and has experience with.

I was lucky enough to connect with him on another page. It is like having a walking, talking ,and very witty encyclopedia of gunsmithing at your fingertips. So let's get our herring muncher back on here.

Miss him too. I would have been happy to share but he never asked a question about actual spear chucking which is about all I think he had interest in that I might have been helpful. I had the best HS javelin thrower in New England on my track team in 1991...
On gunsmith work; would be like the local dog catcher giving Trump election advice so I just enjoyed his writings.

He was one of the only ones that I made an effort to read every post he made. All his approaches made perfect sense and didn't waste your time. He had a great sense of humor too.
He was in a league of his own to me. There are alot of good ones still here but he was exceptional.

God Bless, Louis

Although I like Rod OK, I would stop short of telling him I missed him. I just don't think it's necessarily a good idea to stroke that man's ego. Besides, I'm not real sure he has always given me the respect I deserve while I have been practically deferential in any interaction; even when my inner desire was to cut him down like an invasive weed.
Rod is a perfect example, confirming my belief that everyone, no matter how limited, will know something I do not. That I may not care to know the tidbit provided, matters not.
I have to give Roddy props for putting ghimself out there though; even going so far as to post unflattering photos of himself. I have refrained from that and I'm quite a bit better looking.
So, I like him fine but miss him? No, I ain't gonna say it. Regards, Bill.

Oh he pops in now and then and sends a PM with his opinion or info if so inclined.

Guess he can be selective that way and not have to deal with those he doesn't want to.

Works for me.
