A long time Army buddy has a Herters Mauser that is set up to use a Browning Safari bolt stop / ejector. he picked it up for a song because the rifle was missing the part. If anyone has one they are willing to part with in their parts stash I could really use it.

I need the complete set-up for him.

I am attaching some pics of the part I am looking for - pics courtesy of Jorge.

i've not seen a replacement for these. the one on my dad's 7mm safari broke, and it was replaced with a ruger bolt stop/ejector. works good, but if you can find the real one, it would look better. might have to make one. good luck.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Bill, Try Greensboro Gun Works and ask for Bryan 336-668-2809 . He is a former gunsmith with Browning in Missouri and he has a lot of parts. WOrth a try . He works 12 to 6 EST. He has a Browning with that exact bolt release sitting on his rack in 270 and it is a beauty.
