Depends on the condition of the headstock. If the gun is original there's a good chance the head of the stock is very oily. If so you'd have to take it off to degrease it a bit. But if it looks dry in there you may be OK. I have fixed this kind of crack by mixing up some Acraglass, opening the crack a bit to get the glue inside, then holding a match NEXT to the glue. This turns it liquid so it can run down into the crack. Let the crack close, wipe off the excess, wind it up with some surgical tubing and let it cure. Should be OK. Rob | |||

I have a tiny crack in the upper corner at the head of the stock. I can lift and seperate the crack about 1/32 inch. The crack extends back into the stock about an inch. Any ideas how to fix it? Jim | |||
