I am having a hard time finding a 1903 Turkish Mauser for sale. I am wanting one for a project that I will be doing most of the work myself. Thus the use of the 1903 Turk instead of the much pricier Peruvian. The 1903 has the high charging hump.

The project will be an express sighted full stocked 6.5x55.

If any of you know where one is to be had I would sure appreciate hearing about it.

Mine are K. Kales Turks.....I don't believe this is what M1Tanker is looking for.....they are still at PacMet for heat treating....

They have the receiver ring counterbore removed and the charger hump removed as well.

I'll offer them for sale when they are ready.......I'm not sure I'll actually have anything after heat treating.....PacMet isn't exactly good at returning emails!!

Thats cool Mike,
Golden borders part of Lakewood. Be nice to meet you. Did your job transfer you here?

I took new one and will also be opening up shop when I get set up.

Now, if only the snow would let up so I can move my machines.

I'll look you up when I get there.

bill, I think the turks have pretty much dried up, or should I say the cheap turks have dried up, they are out there people are now wanting more than $100 a pop for them nowadays. no more $39 turks!! I too would like to find a turk to bubba myself, maybe you could do a dremel crown on it Big Grin I personally can't see paying $100 or more for a ghetto turk with a sewer culvert bore. If you happen to find some in the $75 and below area let me know, sometimes places like SOG or century may carry a few parts turks which may have actions, or even nearly a whole rifle, which might be your best bet
