Will a barrel blank with a 1.135 shank diameter be sufficient to mate with a large ring Mauser?

yes.. if you torgue from the flange, not the front ring .. might look a little small, but i doubt anyone notices ... oh, yes, as for flange, (inner ring) 47,000,000 mausers came from the various factories that way
