The shop in town has a real nice one for $225.00. I have seen them alot cheaper and I am only looking for an action to learn some skills on.

The shop in our town has 2 for $175 ea. I paid a lot less for my Mauser banner one without bottom metal. I don't know what they are selling for as I just recently started looking around.

If you just want a "practice/learning" piece look for a 1938/42 Turkish Mauser. There are/were a bunch of them around cheap.

Jeez, have VZ24's gone up that much in price? I bought two complete guns last year for $80 each with VG receivers.

I haven't bought one since they went over $55 for a complete rifle with no pitting!
