Anyone have one of these 80s/90s scopes in a slim mount on a custom? PICS?

I have one being offered to me in trade that has never been mounted.

Leupold warranty is unconditional and lifetime transferable.

I'd like to try one of them in 6X but haven't yet. A friendly gun shop owner told me that they weren't nearly as good, optically, as the larger Leupolds but a rare-sight dealer told me that they commanded a premium price nowadays because, what else, "They don't make 'em any more!"

If you want one bad enough, Garry Fellers in Fort Worth probably has one, also Karl Kurz in Maine and Ken Bean in York, PA. I found Fellers to be a pompous snob, Kurz was knowledgeable & pleasant but high-priced and Bean was a pleasure to deal with. Nick Stroebel sometimes has these but he doesn't have a large stock at any time. Ken Bean's phone is 717-755-9070.
