My friends Browning A-bolt failed to fire in -24C. Bolt is gummed up and needs to be cleaned. How you take the bolt appart for cleaning. Do you need special tools. From the schematic the bolt has 31 parts. I think only the bolt head needs to be removed, to get inside?

No. You need to pull the firing pin assembly. You remove it by unscrewing it from the body. But first, with the bolt in the cocked position, you need to place something non-destructive under the cross pin located in the bolt shroud to keep the firing pin cocked while you unscrew it. I use a thin piece of wood specially shaped to fit under the cross pin. Once the firing pin assembly is out of the bolt, you will need to remove whatever it was you placed in there, so you can release the tension of the spring to better facilitate cleaning.

You could just try soaking it in a bucket of Kerosene or maybe a parts cleaner from an auto parts house
