Anyone have any up to date information on Montana actions? I am interested in just the action. Has anyone received one lately? How does the company look, etc.?

Thank you.

Jim

use the "Find" function and search MRC, 1999, Montana Rifle Company, etc. You'll get tons of info. Also Google "Montana Rifleman" fopr their web site. I have one of the actions and love it.

I own 2. They are being made into 404 Jeffery a right and left. The quality is good!

Vapodog,

It takes more than a fondle (of a gun) to get me to invite someone grouse hunting. Cool

Funny you should bring that up. I pass the Flambeau River State Forest sign each morning on the way to work. Yesterday there was a grouse sitting on top of the sign all puffed up, warming itself in the rising sun. I almost turned around, headed home, and got the shotgun, I mean camera. Smiler

Thanks guys for the info. A buddy of mine is thinking of starting a new project.

Have a happy Veterans Day.

Jim

I took possession of my long-action, left-hand, magnum, stainless creation on October 22. I took pictures of it last week and am having my dad scan them for posting here. I need someone who can receive the pictures as emails and post them for me, or tell me how to do it myself in language someone with just a bachelor's degree can understand.

Everyone who's seen my rifle says it's beautiful. I'll post the pictures and welcome your considered and thoughtful comments.
