Hi everyone,

Does anyone know which scope base would fit a Voere 2155? Generally speaking, I prefer Leupold bases, but don't see one specified for the Voere.

The Leupold M98 front mount works, but the rear doesn't fit. Weaver supposedly makes one for the 2165, which I've ordered and will test on the 2155 when it arrives.

Are you using a mount for a military 98 or a commercial (FN style) 98? The commercial style should fit the 2165.

The Leupold packaging didn't distinguish between the two; since it didn't fit, perhaps it was the military style. The front base fit perfectly.

The package was labeled "M98 Mauser."

Me thinks you need the ones in the package marked Mauser FN.

In any event, I have the Weaver model on the way; and a spare M98 set ...

Now I'll have to buy a rifle to match my spare set of scope mounts. Any suggestions?

Leupold bases that are listed for Mauser Mark X fit the Voere 2165, Just bought one and these bases fit.
