I have been thinking about going for a 300 WSM in winchester m 70 coyote and was just wondering what people were finding with them. My biggest concern right now is if the bullets once seated to touch the lands will fit in the magazine. I have a 300 Ultra and i can't get my full lenght loads into the magazine. Pisses a guy right off.

I looked at a new Classic Laminated M70 in 300 WSM last Sat.Looks like a full 3.1" mag box,no spacer.I'm guessing but you should be able to get to the lands.I'm sure someone with firsthand experience will join in.Question on your Ultra Mag...what rifle is it in?

Markus, any 180 gr. bullet can be seated to touch the lands in the M70/300 WSM with plenty of room to spare in the magazine.
