Hello, Got an idea stuck in my head and am looking to see if anyone has references to someone who could possibly do the work. I'd like to install a bull-type barrel on a Luger 9mm pistol. The barrel would be about 5 1/2" with no taper. Basically I'm imagining a Luger in 9mm with a Ruger MKII 22 look to it. Anyways, anyone know who would be willing to tackle the work? As I understand it, or at least looking at your typical Luger barrel, the work would require threading a 9mm barrel, chambering/headspace in 9mm and then filing an extractor groove on top. It seems the hard part is finding someone to thread a barrel blank to Luger thread dimensions. Anyways, any help would be appreciated. I think a 9mm Luger in this configuration would look great!

Try Turnbull, or Bowen Classic Arms. I am sure that either of them could do it, but I am sure it won't be cheap.
