I desperately need a 788 trigger if anyone knows where I can get one. I don't care whether it's a factory or Canjar trigger.

I don't know if this would help but I had my housing silver soldered after reworking it. The problem with these factory housings is they usually come apart. If you have the pieces maybe you can try this.

Big Sky, Canjar still makes triggers for the 788's and they are wonderful triggers. They aren't cheap and the wait can be long. You could also try Western Gun Parts here in Edmonton, Alberta. Sorry, i don't have the number handy but they are on the web. (www.westerngunparts.com I believe) Hope this helps. - Dan
