Hey guys, I know this probably isn't the place for this, but since this is where a lot of the collectors and such collect I thought this group would enjoy it most.

Probably 35-40 years ago my stepfather bought an LC Smith shotgun, side by side, pistol grip stock, 12ga. with 32" barrels(I have not seen it yet, just all off the stories) .

He had the gun reblued and I think the stock refinished. Anyways, he really liked it and he as well as friends shot it for years. one barrel was full and one was "really full" and the gun was great for some long shots.

He finally sold it to a friend that really wanted it and later when that friend died he tried to buy it from the widow. Well another "friend" had gone over there right after the death and taken (I don't know if he said they were his or what) a bunch of the guys guns, including the smith.

Yesterday my mom and stepfather watched my girls for us and when I went to pick them up he told me that the gunshop we go to in town had his old shotgun!!! He's already talking to them and will be buying the shotgun back after all these years. I am really excited to see it and find out how it shoots.

Well,

I for one thinks it's s great story. We've all done something we regret and rarely to we get a second chance.

Dang rem721, if the worst thing you've regretted in life doing was selling a gun I need to start going to your church!

P.S. Keep an eye out for our old M1892 in 25-20 willya?
