Hi I am wondering if a Pre 64 feather weight Model 70 butt plate is flat of curved? I recently purchased one of 1955 vintage and it had a pad added but appears to have not been cut (unless they took it off in the heel and toe) as the length of pull is still 13.5" and the widows peak was filled with wood putty. .

My 243 of that vintage had an aluminum butt plate with a widows peak at the top and was curved slightly.
