I have a Carl Gustaf/Kimber M96 Swedish Mauser in 6.5 x55. I am curious as to what is involved in converting the bolt from cock on close to cock on openning. Does the bolt have to be replaced? Does the headspace then have to be reset? ******************************************************* For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction. | ||

Ed LaPour comes to mind first for someone expert at this type of work. He has his own line of parts for the various actions including the '96. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson. | |||
