A fair priced Beretta silver Sable double rifle has come up in Australia. As luck would have it it is a single trigger model and I much prefer the double triger, is it as simple as a trigger unit swap to change or is it more complex.
I also own a twin trigger (very modern-3 yrs old) silver pigeon 12g,
any chance the barrels would fit?Is the steel the same?

Australia
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of drought and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!

i believe you can switch triggers, but the frame is a 20 ga so 12 ga bbls won't fit. sometimes you can buy 20 ga bbls for a price (mine were 1500 + fitting) but a word of caution also. the firing pins on the rifle are not the same as a shotgun. rifle pins are sharper and shotgun pins are more round. thus you may find yourself piercing primers on shotshells. I found that if i use winchester they worked OK
