Guys, I have just ordered a Sako Varmint stock for my AII 22-250 off their Internet Specials page. Very nice helpful service, I must say. I shoulda asked this before but how is the quality of the inletting? Is it drop in? 95%? Will I have to glassbed the action? The FAQ page says it is CNC machined. The stock has a Varmint BC which is a tad wider than my current contour but I can deal with that. The current 1:10 McGowen (pushing 20 years old and a bazillion 69gr BTHP's) is coming off to be replaced by a Pac-Nor 1:9 and hopefully a gazillion Berger 70gr VLD's. Cheers pete If Chuck Norris dives into a swimming pool, he does not get wet. The swimming pool gets Chuck Norris.

Pete, My experience is that it is a dropin. I do go ahead and make pillars for mine and skim bed it. I think that the quality is great. Butch
