hey guys, does anyone make a heavy stock for a 98 mauser? my current stock and rifle only weighs 5lbs loaded and it kicks much too hard, looking for a good wood stock to beefen it up a tad.

a 5lb Mauser? Loaded? What you got a 6" barrel, and just a pistol grip?

Rebarrel for extra weight. A big stock just makes a clumsy rifle.

There is probably a weight reducing hole under the pad. Fill it with shot.
