In the summer I do not use a box at all. In Memphis the whole damn place is a humidity cabinet. Otherwise I like 85/85. Jim

I was taught the old 80/80 rule( not that our instrumentation was that accurate ) and that more humidity was detrimental (no reference text--just the old smith I worked with) DuggaBoye-O NRA-Life Whittington-Life TSRA-Life DRSS DSC HSC SCI

My cabinet measures 1x1x4. I use a 40 watt bulb under the water pan for heat. I've never checked the temp or the humidity. 4-6 hrs per application usually does it. Sorry to be so low tech, but it works for me.

I run 90/90 in my cabinet. I use a line-voltage thermostat to control temp and a vent in the top to regulate humidity. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!
