Any guesstimate how much this will cost?
It would probably be 2 45 cal barrels, about 28 inches long, plus one muzzle loading barrel bout 36" long.
Thanks
I would think that it should be a pretty straight-forward operation to send them.
As for particulars as well as prices, go to www.fedex.com or www.ups.com or www.usps.com and look around. You should get a real good idea of prices, as well as probably find info concerning any customs declarations, etc.
A friend and myself once built and shipped a complete rifle to the land down under--- what a pain in the butt---. Not only did we have to get a special one time export permit from the wonderful BATF but the poor guy that carried the rifle as luggage was questioned by the Aussie customs people for hours. After all these hassels the rifle was confiscated and sent to the local police then finally turned over to the person it was built for. As DB Bill says be CAREFUL and check out ALL the detales first.

I will research this and post what I find out in the next few days.
As has been mentioned you would need a one off export licence. Although it is not always done, this is also required for projectiles.
When you freight it to Australia, it is no problem when it gets here. Basically, the Australian at this end produces similar paper work to that when he buys a new rifle and pays any import duty that would be due.
