Does anyone have any experience using a different caliber clip in a 6mm 788?
Those damn 6mm clips are 'spensive'!

Thanks

I think it would be fairly easy to turn a .243 or 308 clip in one that would handle the 6mm. I think all you have to do is move the shoulder hump a little forward. Maybe file it off altogether and glue in a nylon insert. It really can't be too hard and there are plenty of the 243, 308 ones to practice on.

Good shooting

There is a gentleman from Centerville, PA who
advertises in THE GUNLIST and sells nothing but
magazines I believe, his company is called THE
CLIP JOINT 814-827-2371 I believe I bought a
couple of 788 clips in 7MM-08 from him a few years
ago.
