One word; Remington 141. Ok, one word and a number.
I did have a friend who actually managed to detonate a mag full of 44 magnums in a Rossi carbine. One round blew out the side of the mag tube and ended up in his jaw, breaking a tooth out in the process. He was alone.
High primer, not pointed bullets. One in a million chance, but it does happen.
Now, the row of .223s; I don't get it.

Don't be silly. Of course you get it. If I showed up tomorrow with a bottle of whiskey, a dozen 50 BMG cartridges, a chunk of 1-1/8 x .156 DOM tubing, nail and a rubber band, we'd both be in the hospital by noon.

coffee Don't give me that: "I don't get it BS!"

When I was a kid. I had the stick. I had the rock. And I had the mud puddle. I am as adept with them today, as I was back then. Lets see today's kids say that about their IPods, IPads and XBoxes in 45 years!

The proper term is "Murphy's Law".
That's when the odds are defied.
Don't confuse that with a designer who says that it's a 1 in a billion chance and it happens again and again ! faint
I've seen that !!!

Only had one half bottle today and I don't care. I have a low threshold for not caring.

The old timers at Win. had it figured out, So does Remingtons mod 14 and 141, but you must not shoot spitser bullets end to end, that's plain stupid..I noticed in the pictures they used milsurp solid spitser, that actually resemble a firing pin for goodness sake..

I have been shooting the Win 94s, Marlin 36s and there "get" for a long lifetime, as have many others, they, when loaded with flat nose or round nose bullets do not blow up, those that did went beyond all that's holy, some confessed and other didn't but should have.

The gun they blew up in the video was blown up, on purpose, for no other reason than to make a point, today its called false news by our politicians. The video is basically a waste of time.

A high primer is man caused, and an act of carelessness or stupidity one should catch that when pushing a round into a tube magazine with ones thumb..Sometimes folks simply deserve what they get. It reminds me of all the nice Mauser 98s that blew up because because they shot the wrong ammo in them and blamed the gun. Perhaps some guns blow up because of Murphys law, I know that applies to the auto industry way more often and in many many different cases. Murphy is a killer for sure...Just another point of view for thought, its just your turn in the barrel.
