I'm having an issue with a Franchi shotgun a customer brought me. I don't get alot of over and unders so not alot of experience with them. The safety/barrel selector spring broke. I have a replacement but cannot figure how it goes back in for the life of me. The old one was in pieces so I don't know how it came apart. Its a flat arched spring with a square hole. Schematics are not helpful because while they show where it goes it doesn't show what direction or if the arch is up or down. Any help would be appreciated.

I figured it out finally and its missing the safety block so I ordered one and it will be done. I will keep that in mind bext time I get one with missing parts. Appreciate the help
