Where can I find an extractor for a post 64 model 70 win in 300 Win mag? Midway has them for standard cals, but not Mag. Thank you. Wayne Wayne Johnson

numrich is out too. I would get a standard and re-grind it.

Midwest gun works shows some but not sure if it's for the later push feeds, or if they will work for the post 64s. Good luck.

This is exactly what I had to do with a Black Shadow 7 WSM. It came to me from the gunshop with a standard extractor, which made chambering a round impossible. This was supposed to be a demo rifle, but I don't know how they managed to let anyone shoot it with that extractor in it. I suspect they robbed the extractor to use in a different rifle. Anyway, a little time with a dremel, going slow and checking often, and now it feeds and chambers just fine. I looked for quite awhile, but never found one that was reasonably priced. I thought $40 was too much. Jon Larsson - Hunter - Shooter - Reloader - Mostly in that order...

Easy to make one too if you had an hour on a mill. Or a file. Actually, both. And for me, the King of Tools; the Belt Sander.
