Got the Agry Mauser back from Tom. He did the all the metal work, Douglas barrel in 9.3 . I put it in a spare stock I had laying around. Barrel has about 25 rounds of PPU 286gr through it.
Here's the target after getting the Nikon 2-7 installed
100yrds, three shots.

I am convinced that old Paul and Wilhelm had a brilliant idea putting the step in exactly the right place on these barrels and that is what I do; they routinely shoot way better than one would expect. I believe that this step and contour have a totally positive effect on the barrel harmonics which results in great shooting. Now, for the small calibers, mainly 275 Rigby, I have the Earl of Marlborough pattern barrels which I expect to better the 9.3s in performance, but are a pound lighter. This contour is all I am using these days for obvious reasons. . Nice shooting Rich. Think about the possibilities with a stock that actually fit.

No Mauser (post 71/84) needs to have the bolt face altered for a 9.3x62, whether it is an angry, happy or Texas Aggie one. Or even a 1909 Argentine one. The 1909 does need a little rail tweaking as they started out life as a 7.65. But it's an easy mod.
