Just For Giggles
coffee

And this is how it went down:

Guy was in the bar talking to his uncle Jim and asks him where he got his muzzle brake and old uncle Jim gives him my number.

Well he calls me and I tell him that I can do it for him. $250 plus tax and the time in shop is two days.

Well our hero knows damned well that he can get it cheaper than the guy who ripped off his uncle Jim and he gets on the old inter-web and finds the only listing they have for Edmonton and calls me. Well, I have call display and I'm not a total retard so I know it's the same guy but I tell him that I can do it for him. $250 plus tax and the time in shop is two days.

This guy has obviously been around the block and he knows that the inter-web is nothing but a bunch of bums, scums, creeps and hoes out to scam a high-tech-redneck like his-self. Hell, he's still waiting for his $1,000 Russian bride and he's not going to fall for that shit again.

So he turns to the only reliable source. The yellow pages and gets the only listing for gunsmiths in Edmonton and calls me. By now I'm getting a bit pissed because I know it's the same retard wasting my time, but I'm cordial and I tell him that I can do it for him. $250 plus tax and the time in shop is two days.

I know damned well that he now thinks that all the gunsmiths in Canada are in cahoots and they are just ripping him off because they are all the same price and all the same turnover rate and he's never going to get a brake installed after learning that about those crooks.

But I'm happy with that because I know that I'm still not quite the dumbest person in the world!

Well, he didn't recognise the your number or your voice. That sounds pretty dumb. I hope he finds someone to mutilate the rifle at his price. Then he can be deaf and dumb.

Rod,

You know that if you did the work for him, he'd find some way to be a pain in the butt.

Yellow Pages are used like cell phones in Canada. Have you ever seen the cell phone coverage map for Canada? It is just like North Korea; mostly blacked out.

Translated (loosely) from the German:

A little rabbit comes into a drug store and asks the pharmacist,"Got any cawats?"

The oharmacist politely replies, "I'm sorry, but this is a drug store, We don't sell carrots."

The next day the same little rabbit comes into the same drug store and asks the pharmacist, "Got any cawats?"

The oharmacist replies, " Look, I told you yesterday that this is a drug store, not a grocery. We don't sell carrots."

The next day the same little rabbit comes into the same drug store and asks the pharmacist, "Got any cawats?"

This time the pharmacist is really angry and replies, "Look, you, I've had all I'm going to take. This is a drug store, We don't sell carrots. If you come in and ask me that again, I'm going to knock your teeth out."

The next day the same little rabbit comes into the same drug store and asks the pharmacist, "Got any cawats?"

Without a word, the pharmacist picks the little rabbit up by his ears and knocks his teeth out.

The next day the same little rabbit comes into the same drug store and asks the pharmacist, "Got any cawat juice?"

Why have cell coverage in areas where no one has set foot in the last 100 years Tom?

But because there are no people, the hunting is REALLY GREAT. You Mercans can shoot your one or two deer a year. But check this out!

You Mercans always think your way ahead of everyone else. Hell, we got more dumb-asses here than you could give senate posts too. You got a gun behind every bush? We got a liberal hiding behind every bush! We're self proclaimed socialists bordering on communists. Mind you, your democratic voters almost elected a communist as the head of your democratic party last election. Yer lucky they had the superdelegates or you might have had Vladimir Putin throwing his hat in the ring for 2020. I don't think Trump could beet him either! LMAO ROFF

If I had to choose, I think I'd rather have all my firearms cheap and unregulated and my hunting licenses expensive and restricted instead of the other way 'round per you Canuckistanians. You people regulate spicy seasoning aerosol cans too. I don't even want to know about slingshots and pointy cutlery.

The US is far from perfect, but when it comes to the rest of the world we're relatively 'free' regarding popguns.

Hey, we regulate EVERYTHING ! We probably employ 10% of the population just running around checking everything and giving everyone tickets for shit. We have the perfect, socialist society that Bernie Sanders is DREAMING of giving to you !

He would have won that election if the democrats hadn't manipulated the vote and had the super-delegates pull his wheels out from under him. You may not be scared right now. But you should be.

You should be ! ! ! ! !

During the Gainers strike in 1986 some of your more enterprising lads got rather creative with arrows, primers, and black powder from what I hear.

A woman walked into the kitchen to find her husband stalking around with a fly swatter.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Hunting Flies" He responded.

"Oh. Killing any?" She asked.

"Yep, 3 Males, 2 Females," he replied.

Intrigued, she asked. "How can you tell them apart?"

He responded, "3 were on a beer can, 2 were on the phone."

I don't know that he ever came in. I see a lot of people so he may have slipped in un-noticed. I suspect that he may still be trying to find someone who's cheaper and quicker thought! LOL
