I have at least 5 of their barrels, including the ones on my 500 Jeffery and 400 Whelen.

Excellent accuracy, and the best price point in the market.

The last 5 (I think) barrels I have purchased from ITD. Hard to beat his prices. He will get my next orders as well.

As usual just my $.02

I"ve done business iwht them, and sent plenty of others there.. the "cheap" douglas barrels in SGN are them.

I don't recall them making anything larger than .458 though, but I certainly could be wrong. Douglas doesn't currently make a .475 or larger, I tried!

I was very pleased... Price was 178 for a XX Blank, 50 to Thread, Chamber & Crown. Nice recessed target style. Shipping 13 = 241.00 delivered.

Also did not buy the extra Air Gauge spec. ( Means nothing, just that they Air Gauged it). Does not mean it will shoot better.

I Dont like prethread barrels. I have seen some so loose that two threads from tight they would wobble all over. I like to see a barrel threaded so one must use a wrench to turn them past the last two threads,

I've sure paid more. But comparing ITD to the higher priced work in my mauser based hunting rifles I can see no difference in accuracy. As to the threads 2 of them I needed to lap to allow me to run them all the way in.

In talking to him if you want work done to square the action he will do that as well at extra $$. I have not done it in the barrels I have bought from him. Hey I might get burned on the next one. But todate I have no complaints. I'm looking for subMOA hunting rifles and so far that is what I have gotten.

I've had IT&D do 3 re-barrel jobs for me. The first two shoot very well. The third is untested yet. I expect it to do well too!
