What exactly is required to fit a Brownell's shroud? It says "Gunsmith fitting required" and the kuhnhausen manual doesn't make it clear to me exactly what is being done.

Thanks,
Mike

The only "fitting" I've ever had to do is ream out the plunger hole a little when it was a tad tight on the spring and plunger. Most haven't even required that, simply assembled and screwed on to the bolt.

You might have to lap the threaded portion some, as sometimes the fit is a little to snug when you try to screw it into the back of the bolt.
