BLR 308 conversion to 358

Can a 308 BLR be re-barreled to a 358 Win. without too much work other than the barrel?

I've never worked on a BLR but can see no reason why this should be a difficult task.

That is unless the BLR has barrel bands.

I'm not real familiar with the BLR, but they make it in .358 so I seriously doubt that extra mods would be needed. You may want to look into having the barrel rebored, if the breech end has any special extractor cuts that would cost extra if working from a blank.
