A while back I posted about the need for a good smith for some trigger work for my B78. I heard back from one of you about a smith in Iowa. He sounded good I chatted with him then didn't send the gun and also lost his name and address.

Could you please help a brother out again with this.

I live in Iowa but I don't know a commercial smith that I would recommend for the job. Probably several, but I would send it to Lee Shaver in Missouri. He has developed a special fix for the Browning 1885 which I think is a similar or identical trigger set up. He is also a VERY highly regarded gunsmith in the single shot world. See URL below

I'd second Lee Shaver. 1885's is not the easiest trigger to work on.

Thanks much I'll give it a try-perhaps it was Mo. I thought it was Iowa but the name sounds familar.
