Hello Folks

The schematic for the BPR in Mr De Haas's book shows a "barrel extension" that was "pressed" into the receiver ring, it formed the receiver locking lugs, and was threaded to take the barrel.

Does anyone know if the same/similar system is used in constructing the Browning A Bolt/Miroku M Bolt - if it is it doesn't show on their schematic in the PDF manual !

Cheers - Foster

The A-Bolt is threaded like a Mauser, Rem. or Win. I don't know the tpi.

From what I remember, on the only BBR that I have seen the barrel off of, the barrel extension is threaded for the barrel and the lug insert is a separate piece. Hope this helps
