Can anybody suggest me a decent borescope, not too expensive, neither failing after two weeks?
Thanks in advance

Wow. Pretty darn clear.
If only one could recreate that bore look on the outside of a barrel. Copper black fusion?

I never use one; clean it, visually inspect it by eye; then test fire it. Then decide what it needs. I have found that borescopes tell you nothing of value. I've had barrels that looked good, not shoot, and barrels that looked bad, shoot fine.

Before you do that give it a chance. Looks like someone fired blanks in that barrel to get all that carbon on top of the lands like that. At least wrap a nylon brush with 000 steel wool and wet it with Hoppes #9 or better yet, some Lucas cleaner (great product) through it back and forth 8-10 times and then a dry swab to see if it makes a difference.

After you look at the bore, what can you do?

#1 Sell it?

#2 Rebore it?

What else can you do----NOTHING!
