I've been very busy with this project. Makeing the large ring mauser is more difficult than the small ring. The small ring is fairly easy as far as the outside shape of the receiver goes. I've got the large ring magnum now and know all the moves involved in getting to point B. This one is sitting on a sunnyhill bottom, but in the end I see my self making my own one piece units. I think by the time one can weld and finish the bottom the mech. center can beat the weld and finish time, plus end up with a better aligned part in the end. I know the pictures are not pro. but I've only time for milling machines not photo studios.
