Does anyone know what DOU45 means on a large ring mauser? I assume 45 is the year of mfg. The DOU has me puzzled.Thanks,Mark

The marking dou stands for Waffenwerke Brunn AG.
Bystrica. Czechoslovakia. I thik this was the german name for CZ during the war.
