I have recently came into a Mauser rifle in 22-250. Do these blasted things have any trigger adjustment or an after market replacement. It must have a 200lb. pull on it. HA! I need some information on this guys. The rifle shoots well with box ammo so I am going to work up a load for it. Thanks for the input.

I am assuming you have some variant of the good old M98 Mauser. If so, there are tons of different after-market triggers. In addition, things can be done to make the military 2-stage trigger a lot better, but it does NOT have any features you could call "adjustments"! T'were me, I'd install a good German double-set trigger, since they are by far the best kind of trigger you can have on any kind of a hunting rifle, IF you are willing to practice using it until it becomes second nature! Brownell's has them, and they are easy to install.

I no longer own a modern rifle with set triggers, and I sure miss 'em!!
