| With many different models of mausers made for the Turks a little more info would likely be helpful. It is a K Kale version which I believe is pretty much a standard length 98 except the action may have small ring threads not the std large ring threads. Any other info would be appreciated. |

| I actually like them; sometimes they have more milling marks than others. Otherwise, they make good rifles. I like the massive ring thickness for some strange reason. Another good thing; they are cheap. |

| With a good barrel these things can be finely accurate. Most are made on scrubbed German actions, although the Turks actually built about 250,000 M98-style Mausers at K.Kale from 1939-1946. The wood can be spectacular. I have my eye on a "Turked" GEW 88 with pristine bore and oversize stock of fiddlebacked Turkish walnut.
