Got a drop box magazine 500 Jeffrey downstairs thats finished. Width at the magazine is just over 2". Hope that helps

Might as well add to the confusion,,Blackburn's 500 Jeff box is 1.25 at widest point.

According to the website it says that the OD for the reciever ring is going to be 1.505".
