Yes, I had Boyds finish the stock. I didn't realize that Boyds offered a 'lightening' option for their stocks! I wish I had because I certainly would have had it done!



I have the NECG front and rear sights.....excellent sights BTW

I've had 2 Elk Ridge laminated stocks. They were nicely done, well pre-let, and they do have a wider selection of styles and colors, so if you want to pay and wait, Elk Ridge is OK.

I'm looking at Boyd's for my next project though.

Did any of you have your Boyds JRS lightened for the extra $35??

I did this on a Rem 788 factory stock years ago and it worked quite well.

Did Boyds finish your JRS? Also, what sights did you use on your 375?
