Understand that the pre 64 Mod. 70's had a one piece forged bolt, lugs, handle, etc., but are the new ones attached as separate piece in construction?? Not that either way is good or bad, just curious.

Current Win M70's bolt handles are banded.

The aft end of the bolt body is turned to a shoulder to locate(fwd/aft)the handle & straight line knurled.

The newest craze w/ M70's in the last decade-
The bolt handle rotates, but the bolt body doesn't.

Keep'em in the X ring,
DAN
