Gentlemen (and ladies) I noticed the last couple of range session my crossbolts have loosened up a bit on my 375, I tightened them good this last time but I think I am going to throw a drop of loctite on them tonight when I put the metal back in the stock.

any reason not to? (can't remember which color loctite I have on hand).

I use a touch of epoxy on the threads. If I do need to remove it a little heat will release it. I wouldn't use anything that I couldn't get to release.

As usual just my $.02

It's just the lightweight Green that I have, should be easy to get loose. I looked and it looks like Red is the one you have to be careful about. The only epoxy I have out there right now would be a bitch to get loose, but it is great for permanent fixes! (just wish the name was on the tubes so I could get some more of it)

Thanks.
