Tom, I would agree and that only reinforces my suggestion to buy a TC Encore frame and be done with it. If you go with a TC you can enjoy a .17HMR all the way up to a .416 Rigby or even a 50-110 in a single gun.



Entertainment by the bucket load if you ask me.

Entertainment is sometimes more important than resale value; I may have the only Savage 24V in 6x45mm/20 gauge and have never regretted the cost of reboring it.

No your not blind.

They don't offer it in the barrel assy program. I suggested that you call them and ask if they would mount one on your frame. The cost of a phone call is a cheap price to pay to find out. If they won't mount one on your frame them spend $200 to $250 and get your self a 22-250 NEF.

If you reload, get yourself some 40 gr v-max's and some Reloader 7 powder and you can get some pretty good zip out of a 223 rem. I just tested out some this afternoon and was getting 3700 fps thru the corny.
