It's not a 1909! As to what it is.....maybe someone can tell us. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Would your rifle by any chance have a 2 groove Springfield barrel on it? I've got one of those Golden State Arms rifles built on a 1909 Argentine action and a 2 groove Springfield barrel. The thing shoots pretty good with handloads, but, the action has had the snot polished out of it. Everything is rounded off. It's not bad for a beater, though. Rojelio

I do not know if it´s a peculiarity of all of them, but from what I´ve seen here, the ´09 Arg and the ´08 Bra have the straight bolt lever.
