Have any of you installed one of these triggers? I have a Marlin 45-70 Stainless Lever Evolution and would like to improve the trigger pull. I have been looking on the web for assembly/disassembly instructions of the trigger but haven’t been able to find any. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewp...productnumber=188646 Swede --------------------------------------------------------- NRA Life Member

I assume there were no directions that came with your trigger ? Contact Brownells gun dept they might have directions ? Don't take the chip !

I was under the impression this is a drop in piece, drop the trigger plate, pull the trigger pin and replace trigger. Perhaps I'm wrong, does the trigger/hammer engagement need to be adjusted? Here's how to disassemble it.

Not as far as I know, thanks for the Exploded Diagram it will be of help. I was hoping for a little more help on how to take out the old trigger and install the 1 piece replacement. Swede --------------------------------------------------------- NRA Life Member

Looks like it's just held in by a pin, #59. Take the buttstock off and then the lever, it should be clear after that.

As I recall, mine came with instructions but, it still ain't rocket science. "I ask, sir, what is the Militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effective way to enslave them" - George Mason, co-author of the Second Amendment during the Virginia convention to ratify the Constitution
