Bolt Handle Help Needed
I picked up a pretty nice 7x57 Walther Model B Mauser. The bolt handle is such that I must mount the scope very high. I would like some recommendations as to what/who's bolt handle would be best to use so that I can mount the scope with low rings. Here's a couple of photos.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I saw that thread. So the Dakota installed straight down (as apposed to swept back) will work OK? Anyone have a photo of such an installation?

The dakota mauser one is too puny (dinky). Get a talley or half moon.
Even reuse the one you have and shorten the root maybe tig it back on so it has more length

Don't get me wrong here, I am not a fan of Dakota but their handle works for me. It can be set straight or swept back as much as you want.

Nice rifle, I would mount it in high mounts and live with it. If you wanted to modify a non-original mauser sporter go ahead. I think modifying that wonderful rifle is a bad idea.

you will probably have to change the safety as well
