Does anyone know of a company that sells SAKO 75 actions or barreled actions? I know that Beretta has pretty tight rules regarding special orders - they want dealers to buy several rifles at a time. I checked Brownell's but they did not have any. I have a few projects that I would like to use SAKO 75 actions for. Thanks in advance for any help.

Years ago companies like Gopher shooters supply sold Sako actions. If my memory serves Herters also sold them and maybe Brownell's as well.

Today, I don't think you can get one anywhere.

I like the A-III and A-V actions better. For those I look on Gunbroker for a whole Sako rifle with a ratty looking barrel and stock. If you clean up the stock and re-blue the barrel, you can get decent money for those on the -bay. In the end, the action costs $400.00 to $600.00. If the new Sako 85 action sticks in the line-up, the 75 action will become something of a step child. You can still find a 75 in 7mm STW for a semi-reasonable price. The 75 rifles with the wood stocks will look pretty shitty in the next few years. Patience will be rewarded.
