I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a replacement stock for a ruger #1 tropical. The one on the gun has a split forend. I'm trying not to have to send it to the factory for fitting, any advice is welcome.

Grizz, try gunparts corp. Last I looked they did have some forends in stock. But don't remember if they were for the tropical rifle. Hope this helps.Frank

Hello,
I also have a No. 1 Tropical and did recently notice that some firm, Bell and Carlson??, are offering synthetic replacement stocks. Just a suggestion.

Hello,

If my memory is right I think I have one off a 375 I restocked.

If yours is the 458 this of course will not fit. If you PM me with bbl dimensions I will check if you like.

Try Wenig Gun Stocks. They did a Varmint channel Laminated set for my #3. I am sure they can accommodate you.
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!
