I have three Niedner checkered steel plates with no screws. I cant seem to find any slotted oval head wood screws that aren't brass or stainless steel. Anyone have a source?

Thanks
Brian

Dixie gun works or TrackoftheWolf. I have got them in the past from one of those.

Oval Head slotted wood screws-steel
Lots of different dia sizes.
Here's link to the #8 offerings:

I often use coarse threaded Machine Screws as well in hardwood. A #8 usually works for most butt plate and trigger guard operations.
Easy to make, thread w/a die.
The finer thread makes 'qualifying' the screw slots much easier than with a wood screw thread.
